Our children enjoy cooking on a regular basis and we provide a cafeteria style snack where they are able to choose from a range of healthy foods, including fruit and vegetables.

Our various Preschool trips include visits to the local fire station, church, Village Park and Post Office where we learn about shopping and we buy stamps so that the children can send postcards to themselves. Our Annual Summer Trips are always great fun and in recent years, have been to places such as The Donkey Park at St. Anne’s Chapel, Newquay Zoo and Trethorne Leisure Farm.

We regularly work with various outside agencies and invite professionals from all walks of life into the setting to enrich the teaching and learning experience for our children.

Our Outside Areas

We have our own outside area which is securely fenced, providing both hard-standing and grassed areas, a large low level sand tray and digging area. Lewannick Outdoor Community Classroom is on-site and we regularly use this as a play area and learning space, giving our children the freedom to choose outside play activities in all weathers. Our children enjoy the use of a huge selection of outdoor equipment and we encourage our children to choose which toys they would like to play with and suggest ideas for play activities.
